1. Delete it yourself

You can delete your evraft account at any time, from the web app or the mobile app — no request, no waiting:

  • On the web: sign in at evraft.io, go to Settings, scroll to the danger zone at the bottom, and choose Delete account.
  • In the evraft app: open More → Settings, then the same danger zone → Delete account.

You'll be asked to type your email address to confirm, because it cannot be undone. If you only want to remove one event and keep your account, Settings also offers Delete event.

If your event is shared with a co-organiser, we ask you to remove them first — otherwise deleting your account would take the event away from someone who still has access to it.

2. What gets deleted

Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes:

  • your account and login, including your name and email address;
  • every event you own, and its schedule, gift registry and event page;
  • all guest records for those events — names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, dietary requirements and special needs, age groups and groupings;
  • every RSVP, travel record (flights and hotels) and uploaded photo for those events;
  • your notification and email preferences, and any device push registrations;
  • your guests' RSVP links, which stop working straight away — anyone opening one sees a "this event is no longer available" page.

Any active subscription is cancelled as part of the same step. If you are a co-organiser on someone else's event rather than its owner, deleting your account removes you and your access — the event itself stays with its owner.

3. What we keep afterwards

A small amount of data outlives the account:

  • Payment records. If you ever paid for evraft, invoices and payment records are kept by us and by our payment processor, Stripe, for as long as tax and accounting law requires — longer than the account itself. These are billing records, not guest data, and they never include your card number, which we never see.
  • Logs, error reports and backups. Kept on short rolling windows set by our hosting, email, network and monitoring providers, then discarded.
  • Anonymous analytics. Aggregate usage counts that contain nothing which can be traced back to you.

See our Privacy Policy for the full retention detail.

Separately from manual deletion, unused free accounts are eventually deleted automatically: unverified signups after about 30 days, and inactive accounts after six to twelve months — in that case we email a warning first, and logging in keeps the account. The schedule is in our Privacy Policy, section 8.

4. Ask us to do it

If you can't sign in, or you'd rather we handled it, email hello@evraft.io from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm your identity, delete the account and reply within 30 days — usually much sooner.

Guests: if you were invited to someone's event and want your details removed, contact the organiser who invited you — they control that guest list. You can also email us and we will pass the request on, or act on it directly where the law requires us to.
