1. The service

evraft (evraft.io) is an event planning service: guest list management, invitations, RSVPs, gift registries, and guest travel coordination. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use evraft on behalf of someone else (for example as a co-organiser), you confirm you are entitled to do so.

evraft is operated by Toby Johnson, trading as evraft, a sole trader based in Australia, at PO Box 126, Carlton South VIC 3053, Australia. "We" and "us" in these terms mean that person.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Your guests' data

When you add guests, you are sharing other people's personal data with us so we can operate your event. You confirm that:

  • you are entitled to use your guests' contact details to invite them to your event;
  • you will only message guests about the event itself, not for marketing;
  • you will respect guests' choices — including unsubscribes and requests to correct or remove their details.

For guest data you are the data controller and evraft processes it on your instructions, as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Section 4 sets out our commitments to you as your processor.

4. Our commitments when handling your guests' data

Because you are the controller of your guest data and we process it for you, this section is our data processing agreement with you. It applies for as long as we hold that data.

  • Scope. We process guest data only to provide the service and only on your documented instructions — your use of the app's features is those instructions — except where the law requires otherwise, in which case we will tell you unless prohibited from doing so. The subject matter is your event; the data types and categories of individual are listed in section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
  • Confidentiality. Anyone with access to guest data is bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Security. We keep appropriate technical and organisational measures, described in section 9 of the Privacy Policy.
  • Subprocessors. You authorise the providers listed in section 5 of the Privacy Policy. We remain responsible for their performance, impose equivalent obligations on them, and will update that list before adding a new one, giving you a chance to object.
  • Helping you meet your obligations. We will help you respond to guests who ask to see, correct, or delete their data, and assist with security, breach notification and impact assessments, taking account of the information available to us.
  • Breaches. We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your guest data.
  • Deletion. On deletion of your account we delete guest data as described in section 8 of the Privacy Policy. You can export your guest list at any time before then.
  • Demonstrating compliance. We will make available the information reasonably needed to show we meet these obligations, and will contribute to audits you or your auditor carry out.
  • Transfers. Guest data is processed outside the UK and EU as described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy, relying on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • send spam or messages unrelated to your event;
  • upload unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content;
  • probe, disrupt, or overload the service or access other users' data;
  • resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Plans and billing

  • The free plan has usage limits (such as guest count). Paid plans (Starter, Premium) are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel any time from Settings; your paid features remain active until the end of the period already paid for, after which the account returns to the free plan.
  • Refunds. If you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, email hello@evraft.io and we will refund it in full — no reason needed, even if you have already used the paid features. Renewals after that are not refundable, but you can cancel at any point to stop the next one. This does not affect any stronger refund right the law where you live gives you.
  • If a renewal payment fails we will notify you and retry; persistent failure downgrades the account to the free plan.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice by email.
  • Tax. We are not currently registered for Australian GST, so no GST is charged and the price you see is the amount you pay. If that changes we will tell you before it affects a payment. You can request a receipt for any payment at hello@evraft.io.

7. Emails we send you

While you have an account we will send you essential account and billing email, which cannot be switched off, and occasional prompts to help you get your event set up, which can. Marketing email is only sent if you opt in. All three are described in the Privacy Policy and controlled in Settings → Email preferences.

8. Your content

Event details, guest lists, and messages remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to host, process, and display that content in order to run the service — nothing more. Travel suggestions shown to guests may include affiliate links from which we earn a commission.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep evraft fast and available, but the service is provided "as is" and we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the service as a whole we will give organisers reasonable notice to export their data.

10. Liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, or any other right you have that the law says cannot be limited — including consumer rights under the law of the country you live in, if you are outside Australia.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies and permits us to do so, our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

11. Termination and deletion

You can delete your event or your entire account from Settings at any time; deletion is permanent. We may terminate or suspend accounts for breach of these terms, and will otherwise give notice before closing an account.

We also delete unused accounts automatically. An account whose email address is never verified may be deleted around 30 days after signup. A free account that has not been used for six months and has no guests, or that has not been used for twelve months, may be closed for inactivity: we first email the account's address with a deletion date — at least 30 days away (60 days for accounts with guest data, with a further reminder before the date) — and simply logging in before that date keeps the account and resets the clock. Paid accounts are never deleted for inactivity.

12. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes belong to the courts of Victoria — unless the consumer protection law where you live gives you additional rights or requires disputes to be heard locally, which these terms do not override. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to organisers in advance.
